Owner: John M. Hanigan

Born and raised in Olean, NY, John M. Hanigan graduated from Olean High School, Jamestown Community College and St. Bonaventure University. He has enjoyed a career as an executive for Dresser-Rand, a local company known world wide. During his career he has lived and worked in the United States, Canada, China, and Malaysia. Extensive travel has taken him through Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. A perk of this was the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fine cuisine from all around the world.

With all of this experience with exotic cuisines, a local favorite remained at the top of the list. The Century Manor has always been a highlight of coming home, for the food, the ambience, and the attention to detail and service.

Mr. Hanigan purchased the Century Manor late in 2010. This was a lifetime opportunity to utilize business experience and combine worldly dining with the renowned fine dining experience that The Century Manor has long been valued for. His focus is attention to an impeccable menu and upholding the tradition of a rich and memorable dining experience.
